The Lancaster County Coalition for Smart Growth and the Lancaster County Planning Commission are conducting  Smart Growth Transportation Forums for municipal officials and planners. Each forum will present an overview of the County’s efforts in the area of smart growth transportation with a focus on MPO’s New Smart Growth Transportation Program that will provide $1,000,000 in 2011 for projects through a competitive grant process.

Participants will receive information on how to apply for these funds, which can be used for smart growth transportation projects in urban and village growth areas within Lancaster County.

The Forum will be presented on:
Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the Farm and Home Center (Registration & Networking starts at 7:30)

and repeated on:
Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm at the Lancaster County Emergency Management Training Center (Registration & Networking starts at 3:30)

This Forum is being offered free of cost.
